The Origin
It's not just us; we've discovered that many others share the same struggle: how to find fashion influencers who look similar to us? This can be a challenging task, especially for those in the plus-size and petite communities.
In the search for influencers with similar body types, we stumbled upon a tool called the Style Blogger Index. It allowed users to input their height and measurements, generating a list of influencer accounts that matched their size.
Unfortunately, when we discovered it, the tool was no longer available. This was a huge disappointment, as many people expressed a desire to continue using it. So, we thought, why not create one on our own? A tool that helps us and others find the fashion influencers that truly resonate with our unique body shapes. And thus, our tool was born!
How It Works
By scraping a vast amount of publicly available data, we have compiled a comprehensive database of Instagram influencers. Using AI analysis, we've categorized these influencers based on height, body type, and size. This allows users to easily filter through data and find influencers who share their body shape.
Limitations
Like any tool, ours is not perfect.
Size Standards
A person wearing a size L in Brand A might appear larger than someone who also wears a size L in Brand B. This discrepancy arises from the varying sizing standards among different brands. These differences can lead to inconsistencies in defining categories like straight size, mid-size, and plus size. However, our current standards are as follows:
Small Straight Size: 00, 0, 2, 4, 6, 4-6, XXS, XS, S, S-M
Medium Straight Size: 6, 6-8, 8, 10, 10-12, M, M-L
Midsize: 12, 12-14, 14 ,16, L, L-XL, XL
Plus Size :16-18, 18, 20, 22, 24, 2XL, 1X, 2X, 3X

Body Shape
Due to the inability to obtain precise measurements, there may be inaccuracies in body type analysis. However, we are continually optimizing our AI algorithm to improve its accuracy in identifying body shapes. You may check the following information for reference:
Different Types
Hourglass: Smaller waist compared to bust/shoulder width and hips, with well-defined curves.
Pear: Smaller bust and waist, with larger hips.
Apple: Larger waist, perhaps with a big belly.
Rectangle: Balanced body shape with no pronounced curves.
Curvy: A body with curves, which includes both pear and hourglass shapes.
